Shanghai ARKEMA Gaoyuan Chemical Co., Ltd

Arkema, a market leader in high performance polyamides, has expanded its international presence and position through the establishment of a joint venture, Shanghai Arkema Gaoyuan Chemical Co., Ltd, with Shanghai Gaoyuan Organic Powder Plant in June 1998.

Shanghai Arkema Gaoyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. aims to introduce its most advanced technology to the service of its customers not only in China but also to the rest of the world. In order to produce high quality engineering polyamides like those in Europe and the United States, two plants in Nanhui, Shanghai and Changshu, Jiangsu started production from 2000, and have doubled their respective capacities from October 2007.

 
 

Markets and Applications


PLATAMID®
PLATAMID® based on self-produced copolyamides, is produced and sold by Shanghai Arkema Gaoyuan Chemical Co., Ltd.
PLATAMID® is mainly applicable in the garment interlining industry, transfer-printing, television, etc.
Through the commitment and partnership with its customers, Shanghai Arkema Gaoyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. strived to contribute to the textile and garment industries in the region.

 

RILSAN®
Rilsan® PA11 --- Produced from renewable source, castor oil, Rilsan® PA11 is used in a large number of industrial applications like automotive fuel system, commercial vehicle airbrake, textile, gas/oil, wire/cable and electronics, etc. thanks to its outstanding properties: excellent resistance to chemicals, ease of processing, a wide range of working temperatures (-40°C / +130 °C), high dimensional stability, to name a few. Rilsan® PA11, developed with wide range grades which are easy to process, using most transformation techniques (extrusion, extrusion-blow moulding, injection moulding and rot moulding). Additionally our perfect worldwide technical support and service can bring our customers much more values.
