Arkema (Changshu) Fluorochemical Co., Ltd., established in June 1996, has been the first foreign invested company dedicated to the chemistry of hydrofluoric acid and CFC substitutes in China. The plant, started up in May 2000, has a production capacity of 20,000 MT Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid (AHF) and 35,000 MT FORANE®22. Further developments are now under construction.

Air-conditioning
FORANE®22 is used for air-conditioning applications, from small room air-conditioners to larger split or multi-split commercial systems dedicated to shops, restaurants or hotels.
Arkema produces as well in other plants alternative refrigerants, which are used for new systems in accordance with local regulations:
FORANE®407C, a blend of HFC-134a, 125 and 32 developed to closely match R-22 properties and performance.
FORANE® 410A, a high pressure refrigerant blend of HFC-32 and 125 with improved cooling capacity and required system redesign.
Fluorinated polymers
FORANE®22 is the raw material for the production of PTFE and other polymers, Arkema (Changshu) Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. produces FORANE®22, meeting the strictest specifications of the polymer industry.

With over 70 years of expertise, Arkema has become a global organic peroxides producer, manufacturing more than 150 kinds of products in Europe, America and Asia.
Arkema has currently 12 organic peroxides plants all over the world, including 4 in Asia (Japan, South Korea, India and China).
The new modern organic peroxides plant in Changshu City (Jiangsu Province) is using the most advanced safety measures and the most competitive technologies. With an annual capacity of 3,000 MT, it is set up to meet the growing demand of key players in the both domestic and international markets.

Organic peroxides
Organic peroxides are mainly used as curing agent for unsaturated polyester resin, cross-linking rubber and elastomer and as initiator in the production of high polymers such as polyvinyl chloride, LDPE, polystyrene, and acrylic resin, etc.

ARKEMA (Changshu) Resichina Engineering Polymers Co., Ltd. is part of the Arkema group and is a wholly owned foreign enterprise. Vinyl compounds division's operation in Resichina is mainly focused on highly specialized compounds for application such as automotive components and also distributes all other compounds from Arkema.
Resichina is located in the Arkema's Changshu platform. By applying 100% the Arkema group's technology, the quality of the company's finished products is ranked in the top international standards. Certified ISO 9001, Resichina is committed to provide excellent product and service to our customers.
It is the first company for automotive specialties vinyl compound manufacturing in China. The plant design capacity is 3000 MT and plans expansion in the near future.

Nakan®
The extensive range of Nakan® Polymers includes rigid and flexible grades for extrusion, injection, pressing, roto-molding or fluidized bed, offering manufacturing end-users a full range of possibilities, which can be well adapted to their specific applications.
Main applications in cable industry, electrical equipment, building industry (seals, joints etc.), footwear components, packaging (bottles, plastic cans, films, cap seals etc.), leisure (records etc.), housing and industrial equipment (pipes, tubes, gates etc.), automotive (interior fittings, cables, gaskets etc.), medical applications (masks, catheters, rigid connectors etc.)
