Arkema has been working to reducing our environmental footprint and will
continue to drive down the environmental and health impact of our
operations by reducing waste, emissions and discharges, and using energy
efficiently. In China, Arkema conducted a survey from the very beginning
to report the emission quantity of greenhouse gases (GHG), wastes
produced, energy consumption etc called REED (Reporting of Environmental
and Energy Data). We are voluntary to publish our environmental

ACCF got the title of honour "Environment-friendly Enterprises" awarded by
people's government of Suzhou. Both the wastewater and exhaust gas reach
discharge standard, the solid waste is treated by qualified company. One
incinerator to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is in service in May
2008, Arkema’s global GHG emissions will have been divided by six since
1990, the baseline year of the Kyoto Protocol. |
