Key responsibilities:
1.Responsible for process design, process engineering and process developments for Arkema’s online CVD Flat Glass coating business.
2.Lead CVD system start-up & technical support team.
3.Provide engineering support for other glass coatings projects as required.
4.Position requires episodes of intense international travel.
5.Direct communications relating to customers’ and prospects’ needs among business and R&D.
6.Promote CVD Systems through trade show, end-user selling, business development and marketing activities.
7.Managing assigned projects.
Requirements:
Education: B.S. or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Skills: Able to work closely with peers and CVD consortium members. Able to coordinate the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, able to write clear and concise reports, possess good computer skills in office suite applications, understands safety regulations and environmental issues, and applied same to work, position requires a combination of process design, problem solving and research skills, and able to organize efficiently and plan work. Chinese language will be a plus.
Competencies: Team player; analytical, forthcoming with ideas and solutions, high communications and listening skills, and good organizational skills.
Experience: Minimum of five years experience including some aspects of chemical processing, mechanical design, electrical engineering, and project management. Experience in float glass industry and CVD glass coating will be a plus.
Key responsibilities:
- First contact with clients for technical introduction of Arkema PVC technologies
- Technical appendixes negotiations
- Kick of meeting
- technical support during the Basic Engineering Package design, Review meetings, DCS development, plant check, pre commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run.
- Translation of technical documents English to Chinese, and Chinese to English.
- Interpreter during all the different steps of the project.
During pre commissioning, and start-up, operation of the process, DCS, and field operation, even in shift will be part of the work.
- Support during client team training in France.
Requirements:
- Engineer with chemical engineering background, 2 to 3 years experience in chemical plant operation (PVC is a must)
- Good understanding of technical documents, as PID’s, technical drawing, data sheet…
- DCS operation experience will be appreciated. Skilled on software like Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint…,
- English speaker and writer.
Build technical relationship with key Car OEMs :
A significant amount of time would be required in building strong technical relationship with Car OEMs through the following activities:
-Follow closely the schedule of various car platforms being developed
-Understand the technical specification of the application
-Influence the material requirement in the test standard
-Identify new opportunity, leading to possibly the creation of new product line
-Defend Arkema specification and approval from competitor
Secure Approval @ car OEMs :
Secure as many approval for Arkema material at various Car OEMs by:
-Providing technical consultation
-Working closely with our partner to support the product evaluation
-Supporting the evaluation and problem solving at OEM and partner
Market Intelligence and strategy:
Responsible to provide market intelligence regarding to customers, value chain, trends, pricing, applications and competitor benchmark etc. Actively contribute to the automotive strategy, product line strategy and innovation processes
Qualifications/Experience Required:
-Bachelor degree & above in material science/ chemistry/ polymer science & processing.
-Technical, Process & Marketing experience with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.
-Knowledge in Automotive market/ application is an added advantage.
-Possess excellent interpersonal skill and communication ability within & outside the company
-Ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging goals
-Fluent in Chinese and English Fresh graduate is welcome to apply if possess the right attitude

Key responsibilities:
1. Variable cost analysis: monthly follow-up, variances analysis, forecasts according to raw material price evolution
2. Fixed cost analysis: monthly folow-up and forecast
3. Inventory analysis: monthly follow-up with volume valorization for finished goods, raw materials and spare parts
4. Working capital analysis: monthly follow-up
5. CAPEX follow up
6. Assist Business Controller in:
- Implementing tools, local reporting to be sent out to Headquarters on the main drivers
- Consolidating and explaining monthly results
- Preparing the yearly budget and 5 years plan
Requirements:
1. Universtiy degree with finance and accounting major preference
2. Good English skills (listening, speaking and writing)
3. Hands-on experience with systems and strong in office software applications, especially EXCEL
4. Willing to have an in-depth understanding of buisness/production issues and impacts on the accounts
5. Analytical skills/ability to synthesize

- To support sales forces in China with High Polymer customers.
- To provide technical recommendations for selection of OP initiators and productivity improvements.
- To assist customers in lab testing, pilot and production trials when running trials with OP products.
- To be link between the R&D lab of the customer and KOP/CRRA/ACC lab.
- To train and support and work with designated companies, as required, for the safe handling of our products.
- To support present OP product lines supplied from Asia/Europe or USA.
- To comment back to the ARKEMA plants any problems with quality.
- To assist in resolving claims.
- To help ARKEMA plants in getting approvals at Licensors.
- To support our knowledge and understanding of the Greater China markets:
- To update information on markets, capacities, new units and competition, etc.
- To help the sales team in the identification of new opportunities.
- To help and develop competitive advantages and long-term position in the market.
Qualifications:
- Doctor in HP technology or chemical engineering (master level could be of interest as well)
- Good knowledge of the PVC industry (from the initiator standpoint-how to use in the PVC reaction-pilot testing /lab testing) or the other polymer industry (LDPE / Styrenics)
- Very good commercial and communication skills
- Good English
- Very good team work spirit
Key responsibilities:
·Follow up the implementation of HSE general rules & procedures for Arkema China activities according to HSE corporate rules (HSE manual), and follow up with the necessary corrective actions.
·Follow up activities of HSEQ managers in sites to ensure the achievements of the fixed HSEQ objectives
·Assist Arkema China sites to prepare ISO9001, ISO14001 management system certification.
·Support sites for risk analysis and major accidents (potential major incidents) investigation
·Supports sites on environmental protection management and occupational health management
·Support sites to establish Arkema HSE world class management system according to international criteria.
·Support Arkema Shanghai Distribution company on HSE issues
·Support Arkema China transportation safety
·Maintain the Crisis Management system of Arkema China
·Provide HSE trainings to management of Arkema China
Requirements:
·Bachelor degree or above, preferably in chemistry/chemical engineering or related.
·Minimum 3 years HSE experience, and 4 years experience in production and/or maintenance in chemical industry.
·Strong motivation to work in a challenging environment and in HSE field.
·Good planning, communication skills and organizing.
·Good problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
